The Verlaines

After a 10 year break from the studio, The Verlaines returned in December 2007 with the album Potboiler. Back on Flying Nun, the label that the Dunedin group had helped put on the map back in the early ‘80s, The Verlaines’ vintage sound is still there – incredible arrangements pack the razory edge of Graeme Downes songs with memorable moments.
